オランダに入り、一発目はMaastrichtです。位置的に東京でいう町田って感じ（まち的には全然違います）。
朝起きると、何やら外が騒がしい。もの凄い人がいる。ロビーに降りて、飯食って、出発しようとすると、試験監督らしいおっちゃんに「もうテスト始まるぞ！急げ」みたいに言われた。ただの旅行者です。聞いてみるとどうやら、このホテルにくっついてる体育館みたいなところで、大学のテストが行われるらしい。エントランス→ロビー→バー→体育館。初めて見たこういうの。リゾート地か。
地図を見る限り、中心まで歩いて行けそうなので歩いて向かう。昨日は夜だったので何も見えなかったけど、もの凄くキレイ。歩道とチャリ道（原付も）が完璧に別れてる。うねうねしてて、繋がったり別れたり。自分がどっちにいるんだかわかんなくなる。教会もひと味違う。
しばらくすると徐々に街になってきた。そしてデザイン系の専門学校に到着。メチャクチャ広い広場に、集住と合体しつつ面してた。学校系なら入っていいかなぁ〜、と思いつつ潜入調査。いきなり受付のおじさんと目が合っちゃったから、とりあえず、許可申請。そしたら、指を指して「そこまでなら良いよ」っていわれた。けど、どこまでか明確ではないので、それなりに見学させてもらった。外観の割に中は気持ちよろしい空間でした。
お次のスポット目指して歩き始める。ちょっと路地にはいると良い感じの世界が。そんでさらに教会の鐘の音が聞こえる。ヨーロッパだ。少し歩くとマーケットに出会った。手が寒かったから手袋購入。あと、靴下。つーかホントに靴下のクオリティー高い！3足500円みたいなヤツがものすごいハイクオリティーで山積みになってました。興奮。まだ旅の序盤だから我慢したけど2セット購入。
そんですぐ近くのマーストレヒト商工会議所・住宅局に行った。中に浮いた街灯。ヨーロッパの街路灯ってポールにくっついてるヤツじゃなくて、ビルから引っ張ってるヤツ多いけど、そういう系。日本じゃ見ないから目に付くわ。で、住宅局に入ってみる。ちょっとみせて欲しいって言って、ロビーだけ拝見。座ってメモをとってたら「長居すんじゃねー、ボケ」と言われた（もっと丁寧に）。なので、退却。有名な人に設計頼むと、こういう輩が多くなるのは大変ですよね。ごめんなさい。
川を渡りセラミックセンターなるところに向かう。実際なんだか分からないけど、なんか名前的に凄くひかれたので。とりあえず、川を渡ろうとすると、橋と橋を結ぶ橋。何のために？とりあえず、渡りたくなったので渡ってみた。鳥の糞で埋め尽くされていてひいたけど、川の上に立ってるみたいで何とも言えない感覚。面白かった。その橋を渡りきり、次の橋に着いて、その橋を渡った。
途中で駅によって、明日の時刻表を確認して、セラミック広場に到着。近代的な建物が多くて、だだっ広い。コーヒーを買って、外で朝食の時作ったサンドイッチをぼーっと食べた。寒いせいかだれーも居なくて貸し切り状態。ちょっと寂しい。昼食を終えセラミックセンターへ。セラミックなのを期待してたら図書館だった。ちょっとがっかり。でもキレイでした。
お次はボンネファンテンミュージアム。どーってことない美術館。展示内容もどーってことない。よくあるキリスト系オンパレード。どーして皆さんキリストねたばっか描くんだろ。楽しいのかなぁ。それとも生きるためか。当時は宗教を必要とするほど大変な世の中だったんだろうなぁ。生まれたの今でよかったぁ〜。でも、宗教っていろいろな技術を発展させたんだと思う。技法だとか工法だとか、、、。宗教力ってスゴイね。
ミュージアムを出て時間があったので、とりあえず地図を見てみると、不自然な配置の街があったので行ってみることにした。川沿いをずーっと歩く。風景がヤバイ。ちょうど夕焼けで、ファンタジーです。馬に乗った騎士でも出てきそうな雰囲気。
その街というか集落らしきところに着いてみたけど、別に普通。雰囲気的には江戸東京たてもの園。住みたくねぇ。で、今日は終了。バスで帰還。同居人が数名増加。
