Santiago Calatrava氏のOriente Station。駅に到着するといきなりサァァッーって感じの世界。白っ！でも、いやみな感じは全然なく、人工的過ぎるスーパーファインは全く感じない。思っていたより天井が高く感じ、そして自然だった。こんなに外は日差しがあるのに、この下だけは影がなく、別世界。こんなに規則的なのに。このプラットフォームは3Fに位置して、2Fが前のショッピングモール、プラットフォームと地上、あとバスターミナルを繋げるコンコース。
下層に降りると、また別世界。外とのギャップが良い感じに薄暗い。プラットフォームからのトップライト、縦動線からの光がニクイ。Calatravaさん特有の有機的さがある。吹き抜けは地下まで繋がってて、クソでかいけど丁度良いバランス。でも、ヨーロッパの駅舎の決定的な違いは改札ないのよねぇ〜。それでいて、沢山縦動線があって、あんましインフォメーションもないから、ちょいわかりずらい。見た目的にはよく見えちゃうんだけど、、、。
外に出るとまたサンサンと太陽で、ギャップを楽しめる。そんでスゴイ迫力。しかしこの「良いギャップ」って何なんだろ？ﾝｶﾞｰ。
ちなみに、横のウネェ〜っとしたバスターミナルもCalatravaさんなのかな？なんか後付みたいな感じだったけど。
